Due to the high demand, getting a permanent residency (PR) in Canada through the Express Entry (EE) system is becoming more difficult. The average Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool is around 500 as of today.

So what else you can do to increase your chances?

Alternative Pathways:

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)

Each province in Canada has its immigration programs targeting specific skill sets and labour market needs. Getting a provincial nomination can significantly boost your Express Entry CRS score.

Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)

This program is aimed at skilled workers and international graduates wanting to live and work in one of Canada’s four Atlantic provinces — Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island (PEI), Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.

Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP)

This targets smaller communities in rural and northern Canada to fill labour shortages.
